What is Meditation?
Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses techniques such as mindfulness, and focusing on a particular object, thought, or activity to train attention and awareness. With the main goal of achieving a mentally clear, emotionally calm, and stable state.
It is practiced in many religious traditions and is also been found to be useful in significantly reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. It also was found to enhance peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being of individuals.
