What is Chiropractic?
Your nervous system can be likened to a computer being able to process information
rapidly and then relay information back and forth between your brain and body. Good health depends upon having your spine and nervous system functioning at
their best. Chiropractic is committed to improving this flow of information naturally. Whether your passion is for sports, family or your profession, having your nervous
system finely tuned by your Chiropractor offers you a safe and natural advantage towards being your best. More than ever before people are now taking control of
their health rather than waiting until it is lost. Chiropractic is the largest drug-free health care profession in the world and chiropractors focus on working with
the body’s own natural healing capabilities. There is now a growing body of research supporting the health benefits and cost effectiveness of chiropractic.
With patient satisfaction driving the success of chiropractic with literally millions of people across the globe enjoying the health benefits.
Chiropractic is Safe
The New Zealand Governments “Commission of Inquiry into Chiropractic”
concluded:“Spinal adjusting is a vital, very safe and clinically effective form of health care. Chiropractors have more thorough training in spinal mechanics
and spinal care than any other health professional. Furthermore, chiropractic is scientifically based.”
How does Chiropractic work?
Your chiropractor will detect and correct vertebral subluxations. These
subluxations are the most common cause of interference to the flow of nerve messages which orchestrate all bodily functions. Your chiropractor will use a series
of adjustments to reduce vertebral subluxations, recalibrating your nervous system and redefining spinal habits. With time chiropractic will build strength
into your health.
Are Chiropractors Qualified?
All Chiropractic doctors study a five year university degree specialising in the study of the human frame, the brain and the nerve system along with the diagnosis
and management of all general medical conditions. This extensive study affords them the title of doctor.
